(a) It doesn't seem too bad to me - casndidate, teacher, union rep etc
(b) as any nutter could do that it suggests the weird world of a single person rather than the collective thoughts of "people" - rather like a single person writing under annon. on a blog says more about his or her own little world rather than it doesn about all non-Tory voters.

Already a large amount of vandalism has taken place there.
