The Slate Is Complete: Labour Select In Norwich North

Norwich North Labour have tonight selected Chris Ostrowski, a former UEA student and contemporary of mine, as their lamb for the Norwich North by-election. Chris is a nice guy but has some choice views; however I have no doubt he will make a real fight of this election. Last I heard he was living in Ipswich so an interesting decision made by Norwich Labour there!

Along with Tory Chloe Smith, LibDem April Pond, Green Rupert Read, a couple of Independents and the chaps from UKIP and the BNP I thinkthe slate is complete. Let battle commence!

Who indeed! So have Labour redefined the meaning of 'local' then? And what happened to that nice Mr Cook? Locals are not happy chappies...

Mr Cook would have been the best possible candidate. Never underestimate someone from Labour who can win in Thorpe St Andrew....

Would have been an excellent candidate & a first class MP. Not only that he is one of the kindest most honest people I have ever met in politics. As you can tell, I like him!!

Its getting nasty out there - a number of NN residents saying that they will add Gibbos name to the ballot paper... Also unimpressed with Gordos lack of appearance.

Can anyone tell me where Chloe Smith was born?. Simple yes you would think so. But I am failing.
