A very modern resignation

Social networking may have gone a step too far as one friend points out that Labour's latest resignation in the City has come on the Facebook site. Dan Roper, who I think may even have stood as a candidate before, has quit and left an open message giving his reasons why. At least Labour have found an up-to-date way of people of shunning them.

Odd that people make such a song and dance about resigning. When I quit the LibDems in Norwich I just didn't both renewing my membership. Simple and I didn't a Tory wet dreams in the process.

In the late 90s Roper was touted as a future MP and was a councillor. Then he disapeared. Been a candidate in broadland since i think?

Murmour is that he was asked to be Gibson's agent in the aborted autumn election. Maybe that prospect tipped him out of the party. Still it shows its a loss for them...

I reckon he might defect somewhere.. Greens???

Happy New Year to one and all.....
